1. Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("the Customer", "User") and PotatoGift.com ("the Website", "We", "Us", "Our"). By accessing and using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions outlined herein.

• Account & Eligibility: Users must be at least 18 years of age. By placing an order, you confirm you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
• Service Description: PotatoGift.com provides customized and novelty gifting services where customers can personalize messages or upload content to be printed on real potatoes.
• Acceptance of Orders: All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to cancel any order at our sole discretion without assigning a reason.
• Personalization Rules: Customers must ensure the content submitted does not contain any profanity, offensive language, threats, religious or political commentary, or third-party copyrighted content.
• Data Usage: Any data submitted to our platform including order details, addresses, and uploaded images are used solely for order fulfillment and customer support. We do not sell or misuse your data.
• Limitation of Liability: We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may result from the use of our service or delay in delivery.
• Modifications: We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these terms at any time. Continued use of our site implies acceptance of changes.
• Legal Jurisdiction: Any disputes will be governed by the laws of the Republic of India, and the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat will have exclusive jurisdiction.

2. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Our products are made to order and personalized to your instructions. However, we understand that situations arise and offer a transparent and fair refund/cancellation policy:

• Cancellation Policy:
  • Orders can only be cancelled within 1 hour of placement. Post this, orders are sent into production and cannot be reversed.
  • Custom products with errors caused by customer negligence (e.g., typos, wrong image) are not eligible for cancellation or refund.
• Refund Conditions:
  • Refunds will only be processed for genuine cases such as:
  • – Product not received within 7 business days (non-remote areas)
  • – Customization error from our end (wrong print/message)
  • – Product severely damaged during shipping (with photographic proof)
• Refund Procedure:
  • Refund requests must be submitted to potatogift.india@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Photographs and order number must be attached for claim validation.
  • Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after internal verification.
• Non-Refundable Situations:
  • Minor cosmetic issues like slight variation in tone or print shift
  • Customer dissatisfaction due to novelty or humor of product
  • Incorrect addresses or failed deliveries due to unavailability

3. Shipping & Delivery Policy

We take pride in our packaging and timely dispatch process. Every order is handled with care, from potato selection to final doorstep delivery.

• Order Fulfillment Time:
  • Orders are processed within 24 to 48 hours of payment confirmation (excluding Sundays and public holidays).
  • This includes message printing, sanitization, packaging, and pickup scheduling.
• Delivery Timeframes:
  • – Metro Cities: 3 to 5 business days
  • – Tier 2 Cities: 4 to 7 business days
  • – Remote/Rural PIN codes: Up to 10 business days
• Shipping Partners: We ship via leading courier services like Shiprocket, Delhivery, Bluedart, Xpressbees, and India Post depending on your location.
• Tracking Information: You will receive an email and WhatsApp message with live tracking ID once your order is dispatched.
• Packaging Standards:
  • Orders are packed in weather-resistant eco-friendly boxes.
  • Every potato is placed in a protective sleeve to avoid spoilage and breakage.
• Missed Delivery / RTO: If delivery fails due to wrong address or customer unavailability, the buyer will bear re-shipping charges after order returns to origin.
• International Shipping: Currently, we only deliver within India.

4. Customer Support & Escalation

Our customer success team is trained to help you at every step of your journey — from product inquiries to shipping updates or refund requests.

• Escalation: If your issue is unresolved for 7 working days, escalate by emailing potatogift.india@gmail.com with subject: "Service Escalation - Order #[YourOrderID]"

5. Privacy & Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy. All information collected on PotatoGift.com is used strictly to fulfill your orders and improve user experience.

• Data Storage: Order data is stored securely in encrypted databases. We do not store card details.
• Third Party Access: Your data is not shared with external vendors except our logistics and payment providers, strictly for delivery and payment processing.
• Email/SMS Policy: By placing an order, you agree to receive transactional emails and SMS about your order status.
• Consent Withdrawal: To have your data deleted, contact us with your registered email.
